If I add filter to Google Sheet while its zapped will it interfere with trigger?

Hi,

New to Zapier! I created several zaps. When an offer is purchased in Kajabi then a new row is updated with the persons contact information. I would like to filter the google sheet I am working with to organize the information. If I filter the sheet, will it interfere with the zap?

 

i.e

new information zapped at bottom of row, but I filtered a column for alphabetical order A-Z.

Hi @Aleysia 

Yes, filtering GSheets tabs using in Zaps can interfere with the Zap.

Make sure to check the available help articles about using GSheets in Zaps: https://zapier.com/apps/google-sheets/help

 

I suggest you consider using an operational database app such as Airtable instead of GSheets: https://zapier.com/apps/airtable/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Airtable has Views which can be filtered/sorted, etc. https://support.airtable.com/hc/en-us/articles/202624989-Guide-to-views
