  • I want to share a Google Calendar event on Facebook with the JPG image, not just the URL

Have a google calendar with events. Want to share on Facebook Page calendar entry 5 minutes before start. Added field TITLE and DESCRIPTION and Link to file. 

 

The JPG that is in Google Drive is set to PUBLIC so the url is viewable by anyone in Google. I want to have the JPG and not the URL to show in the FB Post. I am only getting the URL by using the Attachment: URL field.

 

Something changed as it used to work in 2022. 

 

Any help appreciated.

This is the current setting that will show the file URL only. I want to see the actual image instead.

I noticed that you're using the "Create Page Post" action. Have you considered using the "Create Page Photo" action instead? This action specifically allows you to upload images directly to your page.

Please give it a try and see if it better suits your needs. 😊
