Question

HubsSpot form submission to create Eventbrite submission for specific event?

Hello: I was wondering if it is possible to create a Zap which automatically takes a new form submission in HubSpot (which is signing up for an event) and and then submits a Eventbrite record to the corresponding event using the data pulled from the HS form submission. It seems like most Zap directions go from EB → HS and not the other direction.

When I do try to create this on my own, I get to the point where my HS form submission action is taken, linked to the correct form, I’m able to connect my eventbrite account, but when I try to take an eventbrite action, the field that it wants me to connect the data with is tied to “Name” but does not list any of the Events.. what am I missing here? (There is no other option I’m seeing in this direction other than “Find Event in Eventbrite” - yet it is not pulling the eventbrite name and when I try to type it in, that doesn’t work)

Please see below screenshot (company name blurred out). For context, in the past I’ve easily created zaps where a new EB submission yields to a new contact added to a HS list, but it definitely seems unidirectional.

Thank you so much for any advice!

Hi @zaphelp4me

Good question.

Have you submitted the HubSpot form?

Once you do, then you can change the Zap trigger step data: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496310366093

For the other Eventbrite actions, if it’s possible, you’d likely have to explore using the Eventbrite API: https://www.eventbrite.com/platform/docs/events
