This post was split from the topic:

I want to use Loyverse POS and Zoho One Books Kenya with VAT Registration.

In this setting Customers are either VAT Registered or Non Vat Registered.

I have a default customer “A Walk-in Customer” Non Vat Registered both in Zoho Books and Loyverse.

When I create a Zap the Zap Obtains a Receipts Update from Loyverse then is supposed to Create a Sales Invoice in Zoho. The error occurs at the VAT Treatment variable and Tax Treatment Variable.

In Zoho the available options for VAT Treatment are

  1. VAT Registered (doesn’t work as an option in Zap)
  2. Non Vat Registered (doesn’t work as an option in Zap)
  3. Non Kenya (doesn’t work as an option in Zap)
  4. Leaving the field blank leaves no error message

In Zoho the available options for Tax Treatment not totally sure but may be any of the below

  1. Out of Scope
  2. General Rate l16%]
  3. Tax Exempt

or

  1. Taxable
  2. Non Taxable

Non of these seem to work in the Zap.

Please help. Who has an already working Zap?

Hi there @Denobase,

I just came across your post here and wanted to check in here to see how you’re getting on. Were you able to achieve your desired workflow?

Please do let us know if you’re still in need of some help on this at all - happy to assist further! 🤗

Hi Ken,

I managed to find a work around. What needs to happen is to create a new ZAP from scratch and NOT USE THE ZAPIER TEMPLATE. It appears the template may be using the old Zoho APIs which were updated 1st Aug 2024 and hence the bug.

The new ZAP works great however I am not checking why the receipt in Loyverse for say KES100 Vat Inclusive propagates to Zoho as KES116 VAT Inclusive (our VAT is 16%).

Dennis

Hi @Denobase,

That’s an awesome workaround. We are glad you sorted it out and shared it with the community.
