Question

How to upload a file from a Microsoft Outlook email to a record in Salesforce?

Hello,

I am attempting to create new records based on when an email arrives in a shared inbox. I have the flow creating a new record with all the required data and and have attempted a loop in the event that multiple files are attached. I have gotten it to upload a file successfully, but it was just a .txt file containing the metadata. Step #8 finds the record based on the ID used in step #5.

Hi @tucker_10yes

Try using this Zap trigger: Outlook - New Attachment

Help link about using files in Zaps: https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/send-files-in-zaps

For us to have more info, post screenshots with how your Salesforce Zap action step for handling the file is configured in EDIT mode.
