I’m trying to connect my Hubspot to Google Sheets. What I’m trying to have happen is:
- Sales email is sent to contact in Hubspot (individual emails, not mass marketing emails)
- Google Sheet creates new row with contact info
I’d also like to create another zap that:
- When the contact opens the sales email (this is updated under Activity in Hubspot) or responds, then
- Google Sheet has individual cells updated
I’m having trouble finding which trigger in Hubspot is the right one. When I pick email event, it says it can’t find anything even though we send 5-10 emails per day, so I believe it’s trying to pull the marketing email data, not the sales email.
I’d appreciate any thoughts and tips you have!
