How to trigger zap for e-com orders?

Hi there, we connected Zapier and Squarespace, and now the only available option as a trigger on Zapier is “NEW FORM SUBMISSION.” We don’t see any triggers for the e-com store. Any idea how to find a trigger that would zap the e-com order details?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @lavit

As you’ve seen - Squarespace currently has a fairly limited Zapier integration which right now doesn’t support e-commerce options.

One potential workaround for you is to set up a zap that parses the order confirmation emails you get from them to grab data and trigger a zap.

Zapier has its own parser you can use, and I’ve also written a blog post about other tools you can use for parsing.

[ADVANCED] You need to use the Squarespace Commerce APIs: https://developers.squarespace.com/commerce-apis/overview

Use a Webhooks step to make API requests.

Depending on the payment provider you’re using (e.g. Stripe), you can use that to trigger the Zap.
