I would like to trigger a drip campaign in constant contact if there is no reply to an email for three days.

We send quotes to potential clients that fill out a form on our website. We would like to start a drip campaign if the potential client does not respond to this email after 3 days. The emails are sent from outlook. We have a zap that creates a contact in outlook once a form is filled out in gravity forms. Also when someone fills out a form in gravity forms it creates a contact in constant contact. When this contact does not respond to the quote we would like to start a drip campaign in constant contact the educates the client about our services. Is this possible with Zapier?

Hi @seabiscuit

You’ll have to keep and update a Constant Contact data point and/or a log on email activity in order to trigger the CC Drip.

And will depend on what the trigger for the CC Automation is.

NOTE: You’ll need to make sure the Zap logic is configured in a way to handle the different use cases, for example…

What if the Contact replies after 3 days, what should happen? ETC.

Zap Steps would be something like this…

  1. Trigger: Outlook - New Email
  2. Action: Constant Contact - Find/Create Contact
  3. Action: Paths
  4. Action: Path A - Filter (NEW CONTACT)
  5. Action: Path A - Delay (3 Days)
  6. Action: Path A - Constant Contact - Update Contact
  7. Action: Path B - Filter (EXISTING CONTACT)
  8. Action: Path B - Constant Contact - Update Contact
