Question

How to sync dropdown selections from Framer to ActiveCampaign automatically

I have created a website using framer and added in a new section called "Type of Build” on the contact page. This refers to the type of home the client wants to build eg investment, custom etc and is a dropdown function on framer.

The catch hook can read this and shows the correct response.

However, as it moves to active campaign, it doesnt read it and puts in another option. how can i get it to read correctly and then automatically transfer to active campaign without me having to fill it in manually

Hello @salestekna

Welcome to Community :)

I can see that your Webhooks step is pulling the correct data with the field name: "Type of Build” and the same field is shown in the ActiveCampaign step.

When you click the little plus sign under the “Type of Build” field in the ActiveCampaign step, you should be able to select the same field from the Webhooks step.

Once the field is mapped correctly, it will be recognized automatically without you having to manually type it.

More info is found here: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496343026701-Send-data-between-steps-by-mapping-fields

I hope it helps!

Let me know how you get on with the above suggestion.

Thank you,

Hi @Dana.L

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately when I press the plus sign in the Active Campaign step, Type of builds doesnt show as a field. How can I get that to appear as an option. Also, as you can see, the email field, it pulls information from a a field in the webhook, how can I separate the "no, email” so it just pulls the email?

Thanks again for your help

Hi there, @salestekna 👋

If the type of build isn’t sent over by the webhook is there any way to determine what the build type would be from the information that is sent over? For example would the location indicate what the build type would be?

For the issue with the email field, you could try using a Formatter (Text > Split Text) action to split the “No” value from the email address. You can learn more about how to use that sort of action here: Use Formatter to split text in Zaps. Can you give that a try and let us know how you get on?

Looking forward to hearing from you!
