How to set up automated monthly Quickbooks invoicing based on Google Ads account ad spend?

Hi,

I’m trying to setup automated billing for my Google Ads/Facebook Ads agency. I bill based on actual ad spend at the end of each month. So, I bill for March in the beginning of April based on the previous month’s spend for each clients ad account(s). Is there a way to use zapier to automate Quickbooks invoicing while referencing unique ad spend from Google Ads for each client so that the amount of each invoice is updated to the exact amount spent in the Google/Facebook Ad account?

Thank you!

Hi @GCarter!

It is possible to automatically generate a QuickBooks invoice using a Zap, so the question is how to automatically get the Google Ad info to Zapier. The Zapier Google Ads integration can’t trigger from a new bill, so we’ll need to find another way to get that information.

Does Google Ads send you an invoice/bill each month via email? If so, you could use an email parser (eg Email Parser by Zapier) and use that pull the amount of the bill from the email. If you head down that route, you’ll need to set up your Gmail account to forward the billing emails to your Zapier Parser account. I hope that get’s you pointed in the right direction!
