Hello Zapies!

m trying to set up a Zap using the Learning Suite integration to get notified when a course is changed.

In the Zap setup, there's a field where I can select a course. It's marked as optional, but if I leave it blank, it sets the value to null and no events are triggered.

If I select a specific course, it works—but I have many courses, and I want to track changes for all of them. Creating a separate Zap for each course would be very inefficient.

Is there a way to set up a single Zap that listens for changes across all my courses? Or is there a workaround to handle this without having to create multiple Zaps?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @tralala

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap trigger step is configured in EDIT mode with the field settings in the CONFIGURE tab as well as what you mean by the “null” value being set.

Hi @Troy Tessalone

Thanks for your quick response.

My goal is to monitor changes across all courses accessible via the API key. However, in the Configure tab under Course, I can only select a single course or leave the field empty.

The first screenshot shows my trigger in Edit mode, and the second shows it after the Zap is published.

Is there a way to set up a single trigger that watches for changes in all courses, rather than just one?

HI @tralala

TIP: Click field labels to see tooltips with more info that may provide guidance about expected values and formats.

In the Zap trigger, Course is optional, so it should fire for all Courses that meet the conditions.

Issue may be related to the field: Course Progress Above

Try using a value that is not 0.

If the the Zap is not firing when the Course is optional, then that may be a bug with the LearningSuite Zap integration.

You can try reaching out to LearningSuite Support for help with their Zap app integration.

You can try opening a ticket with Zapier Support for them to investigate more: https://zapier.com/app/get-help
