Hi there

 

Ok, so am trying to get a weekly email (say Monday 8am) sent to clients that have an overdue invoice in Quickbooks.

 

I’ve created a zap that currently looks like this

Firstly, am not 100% sure my trigger is correct - not sure to what extent or limit an ‘updated invoice’ is and whether it would cover what I am trying to do or not.

Secondly, to get the weekly automation set up was recommended this kb 

 but have got myself completely confused with the formatter and if I need to add another date one or I adjust the one I have to then populate the formatter utilities

Am really new so please be gentle and assume I havent got a clue!

Yeh, that Updated Invoice trigger may not be the right one you’d want to use here. QuickBooks has a New Invoice Due trigger could be a better fit for this:

That trigger would allow the Zap to trigger within a set number of days before an invoice is due. If you set it to 0 I’d have thought that would then trigger the Zap on the day the invoice is due:c9c67184cbeba8194bfb80a5cb7d751c.png
From there you could set the Zap to only continue to run if it’s a Monday using the approach in the community guide you referenced. However, since you only want the Zap to run on a Monday you could potentially skip the Formatter actions mentioned in that guide and just use a Delay Until (Delay by Zapier) action that’s set to delay the Zap from continuing to run until a specific time on Monday. For example:
