I would like to send a confirmation email from Brevo when someone books my course with Thrivecart. If I now select “Customer Email” under Send to, there is already an email from a customer every time. I don't want her to receive an email every time, but the actual buyer. Does anyone have a tip?
Here’s how you can do it:
Steps to Fix This in Zapier:
-
Trigger: ThriveCart - New Purchase
-
Set up the trigger to capture the purchase event in ThriveCart.
-
-
Check ThriveCart Data Fields
-
When a course is purchased, ThriveCart usually provides multiple email fields:
-
customer.email
→ Might be the recipient (if it's a gift or multiple buyers) -
purchaser.email
→ Usually the actual buyer’s email
-
-
Use a Zapier "Formatter" step to extract the correct email.
-
-
Filter by Zapier (Optional)
-
Add a Filter step if needed to ensure that only relevant emails are processed (e.g., ignoring duplicate emails).
-
-
Send Email via Brevo (Sendinblue)
-
In the "Send Email" action, use the field that holds the actual buyer’s email (likely
purchaser.email
). -
Customize the email template as needed.

Hi
Just to clarify Hafiz reply. To automate confirmation emails for Thrivecart purchases using Brevo, ensure the customer's email is dynamically pulled instead of using a static address. Set up a Zap with Thrivecart's "Product Purchase" trigger, then add a Brevo action to "Send Transactional Email." In the "Send to" field, map it to the customer's email from the Thrivecart data. This ensures each buyer receives their confirmation email automatically.
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.
