Question

How to save client email attachments to Google Drive from an automated confirmation email?

I've set up an email automation that sends a confirmation to the client.
Is it possible to save the file to Google Drive if the client responds to that email with an attachment?

Hi @Claus Jensen

Good question.

Which email app are you using?

I’m using Gmail - I’ve completely forgot to mention that.

Would it be possible to use that “New Attachment” on my existing setup?

Or if I have to setup a new trigger, how would I connect the two zaps, so the received email attachments will get saved and moved to the folder I created in Drive.

@Claus Jensen

You would need a new Zap using the Gmail New Attachment trigger.

@Troy Tessalone

How would I setup the new trigger to refer to the email thread sent by the other zap?

@Claus Jensen

You may need to add a lookup table to log the sent email and other assets to reference across Zaps.
