I have a recurring meeting in Zoom and I would like to be able to pull through the date the registrant has signed up for into my workflow so that I can pull it into Mailer Lite (and/or HubSpot).

Please note I’m on the free version so can only create 2 step zaps at the moment

Thanks

Hi @ZenDeLou

Please clarify which Zap steps you are trying to use by providing screenshots.

Hi Troy

Please see screenshot attached

Thanks

@ZenDeLou

When the Zap is trigger to run, it should return a timestmap value that you can use.

Or you can use a system generated timestamp:

Ok thank you. I will have a look at that and see if I can use that. Thanks

Hi there @ZenDeLou 👋

Just checking in to make sure you’re all set. Have you had a chance to give Troy’s suggestions here a try yet?

If you get stuck at all please do let us know and we’ll be happy to assist further! 🙂

Hi Sam. I’ve just had a look at this but I don’t think it will work unfortunately as it’s the date of the actual zoom meeting I need rather than when the zap runs.  Because I have a recurring zoom so there are different dates the person could sign up for and I’m trying to pull which one they sign up for (as it might not necessarily be the next one), so that I can send reminders based on that date.

Ah I see, @ZenDeLou! So it’s the date of the individual meeting you’re looking to select rather than just the date that they signed up for the meeting.

I did some checking on this end but couldn’t see any bugs or feature requests open for the New Meeting Registrant trigger, to have the selected meeting date to be supplied. So I’d suggest contacting our Support team to request that they open up a feature request/bug report as necessary. They’ll be able to get that on the developer’s radar and send you a notification once the desired meeting date value is available to select in a Zap.

As a workaround, it looks like it’s possible to get an email sent to you when someone registers for a meeting: How to customize registration options. So perhaps you could forward those email notifications to an Email Parser mailbox, then use Email Parser as the trigger for the Zap instead. I’m thinking that should allow you to trigger a Zap when a new sign up occurs and pass the meeting date that’s in the email over to MailerLite and/or HubSpot. See our Trigger Zaps from new parsed emails guide to learn more about how to set up Email Parser.

Hope that helps in the meantime. Do let us know if you run into any trouble with that - happy to assist further! 🙂

Thanks a lot. That’s really helpful. Will have a look into the workaround and will contact Support too 😊

You are most welcome @ZenDeLou. 🤗

Please do keep us in the loop on how you get on - keen to ensure you’re all set!
