I have started to create a form in jotform.  My form will have lots of sections and questions, so in jotform I have to do a row for each.  But ideally, what I would like to do is when someone submits the form, it populates an Excel spreadsheet so it is more condensed down.  I would like the questions to go into 3 columns with the numbers beside.

Here is one of the sections in the form.  People put a number from 1 to 3 beside the health issue.  I want it to populate into 6 columns.  Can this be done.

Workbook formatting

Any workbook you use in your Zap must:

  • Include headers in the first row. Clearly label each column with a descriptive name in the first row. This will tell Zapier where to send or receive data from.
  • The second row must have content for any columns you want to be able to see in your Zap.

  • Avoid blank rows between rows that contain values. If you're trying to use a Zap to add new rows to your spreadsheet, it will always add rows after the last row with values. Similarly, rows with formulas, but no visible values are not considered empty.

Workbook updates and maintenance

If you update your workbook while your Zap is turned on, your Zap may error or you may see unexpected behaviors. The connection between Zapier and your workbook will break if you:

  • Delete existing rows and/or columns.
  • Adding rows anywhere other than to the bottom of your sheet.
  • Sorting your sheet.
  • Rename, add, or rearrange columns.
  • Rename your workbook or sheet.
  • Frozen, hidden or protected columns or rows.
