Background

  • We create deal specific slack channels. For example: #dealABC
  • In Hubspot we would have the same deal: DealABC

What I am trying to accomplish

  • When I update certain fields in Hubspot DealABC, it will post those updates to the slack channel #dealabc
  • I don’t want to create a new Zap for each one.
  • Hopefully there is some way to add the slack channel ID to hubspot so that Zapier can look that up before posting

What I don’t want to do

  • is have to create a new zap for each deal OR
  • have all deal updates go to one slack channel

You’ll need to create a Deal Property to save the Slack Channel ID.

Try these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: HubSpot - New Deal
  2. Action: Slack - Create Channel
  3. Action: HubSpot - Update Deal
