Question

How to integrate a copied file into an email

Hi there, I created a Zap, where a Google sheet is copied every week and will be sent via Gmail on every Friday. So far so good it worked the way that the sheet was copied and the email was sent.

BUT the link to the new sheet wasn´t integrated into the new mail and I don´t know how to do that. Chatgpt couldn´t help me ...what is the code to integrate the new sheet??? I tried Alternate Link and Embed Link, but both didn´t work...no other suggestion in the editor seems logical to me...
Thanks for your help!

Hi @Marield

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode.

Hi @Marield 👋

Just wanted to check how you’re getting on here. I can see you reached out to our Support team over live chat but it doesn’t appear that things got resolved.

If not and the link to the Google Sheet file in the email isn’t linking through to the file as then there might be an issue with the permissions for the file. In which case you can try using a Add File Sharing Preference (Google Drive) action to change the permissions for the file to allow it to be accessed.

And if you already managed to solve things a different way would you be up for sharing what the solution was? We’d really appreciate it! 🧡

Looking forward to hearing from you!
