I would like Zapier to read my Google Alerts on specific topic, Triggered by incoming email in my Gmail account. Then using ChatGPT, visit the links in the Google Alerts to read and Summarize the content.

I managed to connect to Gmail and Filter out the Google Alert I'm intending to use. But the Links are embedded in the Body Text field. How do I tell (the next step) ChatGPT to pick the Links within the body/text field?

Feedback:

  • Extracting links is doable with ChatGPT
  • Visiting links is not currently doable with ChatGPT models (gpt-4) via the API.
  • Notes: Even if possible…
    • Zap step may not complete in time
      • Multiple links may cause issues
    • Links would need to be accessible
