Hi there!

I get this URL from a zap (this is an example) :

URL A : https://mywebsite.com

I want to add in a Google Sheet. Pretty easy. BUT :

There is a redirect so :

URL A : https://mywebsite.com redirects to 👇

URL B : https://anotherwebsite.com

Is there any solution to get the URL B directly in my Google Sheet instead of URL A ?

Hi @maxiime

What app are you using to generate URL A, and is there some sort of predictable pattern as to where it re-directs?

Hello Andrew,
I am parsing email, and the URL A is each time different….

Hi @maxiime!

If you mean that when I would visit https://mywebsite.com that I would be redirected to https://anotherwebsite.com, and you’re looking to capture that second URL in Google Sheets, I’m afraid I don’t see any way that we could do that in a Zap.

If you had a list of websites like this...

https://mywebsite.com
https://myotherwebsite.com
https://mylastwebsite.com

… and you knew that it would be one of those URLs in the email, and you know which websites those all redirect to, you could use our Formatter app (specifically a lookup table). Otherwise I can’t think of a way to accomplish your goal.
