Does anybody know how to get a Xero item line record that matches certain criteria, which can then be used to populate a field in the downstream app?

 

e.g. The quote from Xero will have many item records … we want to bring all the item lines over AND get any Item that matches the word “Misc” to map to a specific field on the downstream app.

 

Hope that makes sense. Any help appreciated.

You can use the Looping app to iterate on line items: https://zapier.com/apps/looping/help

Step 2 for MRPeasy supports line items.

BUT, the SKU field expects a MRPeasy Part #.

 

It does not look like there is an available MRPeasy Zap action to find part #s.

You may have to try reaching out to MRPeasy Support for guidance about how to get that value to then use in their Zap app integration.

It may involve using the MRPeasy API: https://www.mrpeasy.com/resources/api/

 

 

 

Thank you again @Troy Tessalone  … I do not see this as a MRPeasy question as we may want to take the specific Line Item value and populate another system.… irrespective of MRPeasy how can you get a specific Line Item and Desc value from Xero via Zapier? is there a IF or LOOKUP type action that can get the Item Desc for Item Code = Misc ?

If you want to handle each line item individually, then you can use the Looping app: https://zapier.com/apps/looping/help

Action: Looping - Create Loop from Line Items

Map data into the Looping step, then map data from the Looping step to the following Zap action steps.

The Description for a Line Item is an available field to map thru the Looping step.
