How to find a contact in LeadConnector using Zapier

Hello, I’ve been working on buiding a Zap that will find an event in one of our google calendars and match a certain term “Orientation.” When it does so, it moves to the next 2 steps (formatter by Zapier, step 3 separates the first name from rest of entry, step 4 separates everything after the last letter in clients last name) to extract the client’s full name from the event summary in the google calendar entry.

I have been successful thusfar!

The issue I’m having is in step 5, I need it to identify the contact in LeadConnector based on the extracted full name in step 4.  I can’t figure out how to do as there doesn’t appear to be a “Find Contact” or “Match Contact” option under the LeadConnector Integration in Zapier.

Once I figure out how to get it to identify the correct client, I’ll easily be able to use the Add/Update Contact function to update a field under that client’s contact with the date of the event in step 2.

Would really appreciate any help in solving this, thanks so much!

Hi @pppc4life,

It looks like you have reached out to our Support Team regarding this query and it turned out to be a feature request for the Find Contact action. While we don’t have an exact ETA for the feature’s implementation. We will keep you updated via email once the feature has been implemented.

Thank you!
