Hi Zapier Community,

I've created a zap to create a new spreadsheet row when a new message is posted in a Slack channel. It works fine but I noticed it also captured and created new rows for the texts replied in the thread which I don't want to. Is there any way I can fix this?

Thanks,
Chloe

Hi @Troy Tessalone , thanks for sharing that but unfortunately it didn't work as it also excluded the original text.

@Chloe.Lee

Try this in your Filter.

Check if the on one of these pairs of Slack Message data points exactly match.

If they match, then that means the message is not a thread reply

If they do not match, then that means the message is a thread reply.

Hi @Troy Tessalone , it still doesn't give the desired result unfortunately. The slack message is not capture even when there is no reply in the thread with this filter.
