How to create an integration between Cognito Forms and a CRM using Zapier
HI,
Sorry, this is probable a silly question. I am needing to create an integration between Cognito Forms and our CRM system. The trigger is when a new enquiry is submitted on our website, cognito forms holds the information, and then I need a new Contact created in our CRM. Our website is already live, so I am concerned that when i’m trying to figure out the zapier, I might inadvertently do something to our live website. is there a way to test it all first. I am a 100% novice!
Or is it a case of, if I don’t touch the cognito form and just create the automation with zapier, all is ok?

What app is being used for the CRM? (name)
All of the Cognito Forms Zap triggers send data from Cognito Forms to the Zap trigger step via an instant webhook integration behind the scenes.
we are using Monday

thanks, it was very helpful. I had a few issues with a few fields, but I thought I resolved them as there was no longer any error message. but when I went to publish, I got an error. The ‘publish’ button is greyed out. And I don’t know what I need to do to correct it

Hope you don’t mind me jumping in here. Just wanted to say that it looks like there’s an issue with the Cognito Forms trigger in your Zap—as there’s a warning icon next to the app name:
In the Configure section of the Cognito Forms step is it showing an issue with the form that’s been selected, or is the Test section showing an error or warnings?
Can you look into the setup of the trigger and send a screenshot of any errors/warnings it’s showing there? Make sure to blur/remove any personal info (names, emails etc.) before sharing—you can use a tool like Zappy for that.
