The activity I am creating is not being associated with the Person in Pipedrive I defined in the Zap. Here a loom: https://www.loom.com/share/7263f974d6e8401bb20407f442dd0eb8

You need to use the Person ID to associate the Activity to the Person, so you need to add a step to first find the Person.

Thank you, @Troy Tessalone

Does this then cost 2 Zapier tasks?

  1. Find the person
  2. Add the activity?

There is no other way that costs less tasks, correct?

Each Zapier action Step the completes successfully counts as a Task.

Yes, 2 action steps are needed using the Pipedrive Zapier app, unless you wanted to use a custom Code step with the Pipedrive APIs, but not something I’d advise for your use case.

If the trigger step already provided the data points you need, which in this case would be the Pipedrive Person ID, then you wouldn’t need the Find Person action step.

Brilliant! Right - thank you!
