How to create a Zap to pull Instagram handles from comments on a particular post?

I would like to create a Zap that pulls all of the handles of Instagram accounts that commented on a particular Instagram post.

It seems like it would be a trivial thing to do, triggered by filling out a form that creates a new row in a Google spreadsheet with the Instagram post URL.

How do I get from the post URL to a list of Instagram handles and the account URLs?

Hi @Jstatdlober and @charlesether,

I have added you all to the open feature request for Instagram to support the “New Comment” trigger. That does a few things:

  • Bring this to the attention of the integration developers
  • Help track interest in this feature being implemented
  • Allows us to notify you via email if this feature becomes available in the future

While I don't have an ETA on when this feature might be implemented, we will notify you via email if it is!

Currently, the Instagram doesn’t have the ability to trigger on comments. However, we have an existing feature request for this exact functionality. Please let me know if you’d like to get added to that feature request.
