Hey everyone!

I’m just wondering how to make a Zap that will notify the Slack channel when a google docs will be edited.
Ideally It will send a summarize of changes as a message.
The problem I see is that there is no triggers for document updated or modified.

Any one has an idea? would be very grateful

Hey @Adam Michalak!

After reviewing the Google Docs integration you’re right, at the moment, “Updated Document” isn’t a supported trigger. That said, there is an open feature request for this type of trigger so I’ve added your vote for it!

While we can’t guarantee when or if this will get implemented, this allows us to track interest and we’ll also keep you in the loop via email if it does become supported.

Slack actually has a Google Drive app that can do this for you: https://slack.com/help/articles/205875058-Google-Drive-for-Slack
