How to create a zap based on the answer to a Survicate question?

Hello all,

I have a problem using Zapier with Survicate.
Indeed, in the 'event' section of the trigger part, Zapier only displays the 2 following event options : 'if question X of the survey is answered' and 'if the survey is fully completed :

How to make Zapier propose the following option: 'if the user has provided the answer B to this Survicate question' to trigger an action?

Thank you all!

Hi @Axel

First of all, you can use filter and first trigger in the selection. In the filter action you can set it up like a way so that it only sends data when question B is only answered.

You can also use 2 zaps and run two triggers. Moreover, you can also set up custom webhook using “Webhook by Zapier” and API to do more complex filtering of your data.

Hi @robschmidt

Thanks for you answer!

I think I need some details:

Where can I set up the “filter action”?

What do you mean by using 2 zaps and run two triggers in this case?

Hi @Axel

The Filter would be Step 2 in your Zap: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

Hi @Troy Tessalone,

Thank you for your reply. :)

I found it as step 2. But it is still impossible for me to create a condition when someone replies with a specific answer in the form, and not only when this person replies.

Do you know how to make it?

@Axel

Zaps have dynamic data for each Zap run.

Help article for changing the trigger step test data that you can use to configure the Zap steps: https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/change-the-test-data-in-your-zap-trigger

Have you tried turning your Zap ON and testing?

Then check your Zap Runs to see the DATA IN/OUT for each Zap step: https://zapier.com/app/history/
