Is there an easy way to just count all the records in an Airtable table, and send an email with this number? Trigger could be when a new record is created.
Hi
Yes.
Also, you can probably use Airtable Automations for this.
Airtable Automations has a Find Records step and an Email step (or can use Gmail/Outlook steps).
Another way is to use linked records in Airtable.
2 Tables
- Table: Dashboard
- Search for the 1 ”MAIN” record which will have the Count of all linked records from the Table XXX
- Table: XXX
- Link all the records in Table XXX to 1 record in the Dashboard Table
- Then you can add a Count field type in the Dashboard Table

I have already an automation in Airtable that finds all the records, and return the total “Length of Records”. However, there is a limit of 100 records in Airtable.
Try this approach...
