I want to create  a zapier to copy any new bills enter QBO1 to QBO2 exact “as is” with class, category lines and so an.  how do it accomplish this.

Hi @Richardo, welcome to the Zapier Community 👋

To make sure I understood your question, you’re looking to copy a bill from one QuickBooks Online account to another, is that right?

That should definitely be possible, you’ll want to set up two separate account connections, one for each of the QuickBooks Online accounts.

Here’s a rough outline of what your Zap could look like:

  1. Trigger: Use the “New Bill” trigger from your QBO1 account.

  2. Action: Use the “Create Bill” action in QBO2.

    1. Keep in mind you’ll need to map each field you want to copy from QBO1 into the QBO2 “Create Bill” step.

Hope this helps!

Hi Sebastian,

Thanks for your help. I’m stuck on the mapping process—specifically, the Category (COGS) accounts in QBO aren’t showing up. Both QBO files are mirrored.

Hey @Richardo 👋

Were you able to get this sorted? If so, would you be up for sharing details of what the solution was - it could be super useful to others running into similar issues. 🙏

And if it’s still not working, is the category a dropdown type of field? If it is, then it would be expecting to receive the ID for the category. So if the category ids between the two QuickBooks accounts are different then that may be why it’s not being showing on the bill that’s created.

If that’s the case then you could try adding a lookup table to convert the category IDs from the first QuickBooks account into the corresponding IDs for the category in the second QuickBooks account.

Hope that helps. If I’ve misunderstood or you run into any trouble on that do let me know - want to make sure you’re all set!
