How to connect live orders from uber eats and other third party delivery apps to my own database?

Hey everyone, I am a restaurant owner and would like to use my own delivery riders instead of ubers etc. My question is, how do I sync a live order from uber eats to my own database? So let’s say I get an order and I want the address, name and phone number to be displayed automatically in my own ‘database’ so that i can then send the info out to my own riders OR they get the information automatically.

Hi @Stix

Good question.

Unfortunately, no Uber apps have Zap app integrations.

Public Zap apps can be searched here: https://zapier.com/apps

Hi @Stix

Following on @Troy Tessalone reply, you can use Webhooks by Zapier to get notified once an order is sent to your restaurant, you can find more info about that here https://developer.uber.com/docs/eats/api/webhook-orders-notification

You can then use the body of the web hook to retrieve the details of the order using the GET Order Details endpoint (https://developer.uber.com/docs/eats/api/v2/get-eats-order-orderid). Part of the response here will be the “delivery” item which will only be available for (Merchant delivery only) .

Hi @Stix!

Were you able to set up a Zap that does what you need with Moh’s suggestion? Let us know if you still need some help :)

I’ve added you to our internal ‘wishlist’ of new app integrations for Uber Eats, so if one is built we’ll let you know. Typically a Zapier integration is built by the company behind the app. If you'd like, you could get in touch with Uber to let them know that you’d like to see their service on Zapier.
