I am using Framer to create my landing pages / forms. I want the form submissions to end up in my Active Campaign, so that way I can start sending marketing automations.

I am having trouble connecting these together using Zapier and haven’t found a clear solution.

Hi @kcoop

Perhaps try this: https://www.framer.com/integrations/formspark

@Troy Tessalone is there a way to do it with a normal framer form?

@kcoop

Try using webhooks: https://www.framer.com/updates/forms

Zap trigger: Webhook - Catch Hook

This will generate a unique webhook URL to configure on the Framer Form.

@Troy Tessalone

I think that part is done. My first step is working and am stuck on this.

@kcoop

For us to have more context about the error, post screenshots with how your Zap step is configured in EDIT mode for the ‘Action’ tab section.

Make sure required fields have a valid value.

Check the field descriptions for guidance.

@Troy Tessalone

So in Active Campaign I created a contact (myself), with some example information and it allowed me to get to this stage. Am I supposed to put my own contact email under ID? -- that’s all it allowed me to do.

It’s also not allowing me to choose a first name.

Upon doing this, I tried filling out the Name and Email from my Framer Form and the information still didn’t go through. But I think that is because I have the free Zapier account which doesn’t allow webhooks.

I think once I purchase Zapier Pro it might work but I’m still not sure.

Does this look right?

@kcoop

What data points were returned after testing the Zap trigger step? (screenshots)

For field inputs in Zap action steps, you can use the ‘Custom’ tab to map dynamic variables from previous Zap steps.

Help link for configuring Zap action steps: https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/set-up-your-zap-action

Check the field descriptions for guidance.

The ID field expects an ActiveCampaign Contact ID.

The Email Address field expects an email address value.

One of these fields needs to have a valid value.

If you only have the email value, then set the email address in the Email field.

Hi @kcoop 👋

How are things going? Have you since been able to select the correct field containing the ID or email address for the contact following Troy’s latest reply here?

Let us know if you’re still stuck at all and we’ll be happy to help out! 🙂
