Hi, how can I close a GH issue once it’s been closed (status changed) in another app?

Hi @psalvado

Try the GitHub Update Issue action step in the Zap.

@Troy Tessalone unfortunately status is not available in the action. Any other suggestions?

@psalvado

You may have to look into using the GitHub API: https://docs.github.com/en/rest

App APIs can be used in Zaps with the Webhooks action step: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/integrations

I am having the same problem. There is no status update, neither a Close Issue action.

Did you find a way to do this? @psalvado
@Troy Tessalone can you be more specific? Is it a premium feature?

@welias

GitHub Update Issue endpoint in API: https://docs.github.com/en/rest/reference/issues#update-an-issue
