Hi,

I’m creating a Zap with the Stripe app, and I want it to trigger successfull charges only.

How can I do that?

The option “set up trigger” does not show.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Farouq

Good question.

These are the available Stripe Zap app triggers/actions: https://zapier.com/apps/stripe/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Try one of these Stripe triggers:

I don’t understand what this has to do with my question, however I asked someone else and they solved it alhamdulillaah.

Zapier’s integration has changed which is why “set up trigger” isn’t showing when you pick a trigger.

But you can still manage to disable failed charges and only include succesfull ones.

Here’s how:

Thanks for sharing this @Farouq! I’m so glad you were able to get this sorted with my friends in support.

I wanted to share some of what was mentioned in the ticket in case it’s helpful for anyone following along - though it’s essentially what you and Troy mentioned. 🤗

I think you are referring to the trigger "New Charge" in the legacy version of the Stripe integration in Zapier. That trigger is now "New Payment", and it is intended to replace the "New Charge" trigger.

You can still get the same outcome by adding a Filter step after the trigger with the condition that the Zap will only continue if the payment has succeeded.: "status": "succeeded

Thanks again for coming back to keep the thread updated with your solution! ⚡️
