How to automatically share a Google Form with clients in a Google Drive folder

I’m making a flow that when I put a new client in Notion (trigger add new database item), a shared folder is being created on Google Drive and various docs are being copied and pasted into this shared folder. So far no problems.

What I can not seem to find - don’t know if it’s possible - is whether I can copy a Google Form that the client has to fill out into the shared folder. Since forms are being shared through a link, I’m wondering how I should to this. Goal is that the client automatically gets the form he has to fill out, but probably it has to be sent out automatically instead of being copied to the folder?

Any suggestions on how to do this best? Thanks!

Hi @ilsedi,

Welcome to the Community.

Google Forms are shared via links, not as files, so they can't be copied into a Google Drive folder like Docs or Sheets. However, you can automate sharing the Google Form with new clients by creating a Zap triggered by a new Notion database item. Add an action to create a shared folder in Google Drive and another action to send an email to the new client with the link to the Google Form. This way, whenever you add a new client in Notion, a shared folder is created in Google Drive, and the client receives an email with the link to the Google Form.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
