How to automate thank-you emails in Outlook after SurveyMonkey responses?

How can I automate responses in Microsoft Outlook after a survey has been completed in Survey Monkey? I need a way to send people a confirmation message that they completed a survey without them already being in my contacts.

Hi @aharmon177

Good question.

Did you try asking AI for help with the Zap steps?

Thank you. I was able to create the trigger for my task but unsure of how what to include in the *to Email (s) prompt. How do I set this up so that when someone completes the survey their email is automatically included in that box?

@aharmon177

We would need to see screenshots with how your Zap steps are configured to have context.

I’ve attached a screenshot below. Let me know if that’s sufficient. My gmail account is linked to Outlook so that’s why it’s in the From Email box. Eventually, this will be sent form an actual Microsoft Outlook associated account.

The mapped email address variable has “No data”.

The Email or Name Fields Are Empty

SurveyMonkey responses have three default fields, Email, First Name, and Last Name. Those will only be populated from your SurveyMonkey address book if you are using an email collector. If you have a question on your survey that asks for their name or email, use the Responses field for that question when you match up the fields.
