I use a chrome extension (I don’t own the extension) to summarise a webpage. The summarised version is saved in the Library of that extension. I want that once anything is saved in the library of that extension, the same summary get saves to Notion using Zapier. Is it possible to do so?

Hi @rajatmehrotra,

Welcome to the Community.

To automate saving summaries from a Chrome extension to Notion using Zapier, the extension must have an API or Zapier integration to trigger a new entry in Notion. If not, alternative options include using Email by Zapier, syncing through another Zapier-supported app, or leveraging webhooks. These capabilities are necessary for manual copying and pasting.

Will Zapier consider even though I don’t own the extension? I had a word with the developer of the extension and he seems to be too occupied with other stuff, hence, will take much time to get it sorted. I am not sure if Zapier can rescue me in this situation!

Hi @rajatmehrotra,

Zapier connects various apps and services but doesn't control individual apps or extensions. If an extension isn't integrating correctly, it's usually up to the developer to address the issue. However, if the extension has an API, you can create custom integrations using Zapier's Webhooks and Developer Platform. Alternatively, you can contact Zapier support for guidance or explore other extensions that integrate seamlessly with Zapier.
