Dear Community,

I hope you can help. I am trying to create the following:

1. We receive an email in an iMap mail box. (Company mail box)
2. Ideally we want this to be sent to a CustomGPT which is trained with our data to respond to the email.
3. After making the response the mail set-up made by ChatGPT is put as a draft response in the mail.

The set-up with outlook does not seem to be a possibility because it is not an outlook mail address. We manage the mail address within Outlook 9iMap connection) from 1 account under which several mail addresses are managed. When connecting outlook it only takes this main mail address.

Hope someone can help.

Hi @Mitchelldr

Try using these Zap apps:

Hi @Mitchelldr 👋

How did you get on with this? Did either of those IMAP or SMTP apps Troy suggested do the trick?

We're here if you need any further help at all, just let us know! 😁

Hi @Troy Tessalone  and @SamB ,

Thanks for your response. I have tried the IMAP integration indeed. Getting the mail in + then getting it to respond to the mail with the correct information works for me. However after this it has to be saved as a draft. This I do not see in Zapier's IMAP integration unfortunately. Only in Outlooks integration. The problem is that  you can not link sub accounts in Outlook (only the main account on which several mail addresses hang).

Hope anyone could help.

Thanks for the update @Mitchelldr! Ah, yes the IMAP app would only be able to trigger on new emails not create draft emails.

I couldn’t see any existing feature requests for the Microsoft Outlook app to be able to select an email alias/sub account when sending or creating draft emails. So I’d recommend contacting our Support team to submit a new feature request for that to be added. You can do that here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

In terms of a workaround, are you able to change the sender email address on those draft emails within Microsoft Outlook itself once they’re created? It’s not an ideal solution I know, but hopefully that might help to allow you to then send out the drafted emails from the correct email addresses in the meantime. 🤞
