How to Automate Converting Podcast Audio to Video on YouTube

Hello,

I’m trying automate podcast audio upload to YouTube as video, since YouTube doesn’t allow MP3 file uploads directly, as far as I know.

So, when a new file appears in a DropBox folder, it triggers Zapp.

I want this MP3 file to be uploaded to YouTube. I tried to use CloudConvert to convert to convert from MP3 to MP4 file, but it said such conversion isn’t possible.

Is there any app on Zappier to convert  MP3 audio file to MP4 video file ?

MP3 file is about 2 - 3 hours long and size is around 200  - 300 MB.

Welcome to the community. To automate uploading podcast audio to YouTube as a video, you need to convert MP3 files to MP4 since YouTube doesn’t support direct MP3 uploads. When a new MP3 file appears in a Dropbox folder, it triggers a Zap. However, CloudConvert cannot convert MP3 to MP4. You need an app on Zapier that can handle this conversion for files around 200-300 MB and 2-3 hours long.

Hi @Salvis,

 

You may try Zamzar to handle file conversions. However, I am not familiar with Zamzar, and It’s best to check on their website to learn about their application.
