I’m using a HubSpot form to collect data. Once the for is submitted I populate fields in a blank application template and save the new populated application in PDFFiller. I then create a new deal in HubSpot based off the form fields and email the populated application to a 3rd party.

 

I want to attach the populated application PDF to the deal in HubSpot. It seems like a very simple task, but I cannot figure it out for the life of me. Is this possible in Zapier?

 

We also make it optional to submit a single supplemental doc (usually a PDF) to accompany the form submission. Any submitted document is stored in HubSpot. I would also like to associate this submitted document with the newly created deal in HubSpot.

Possible yes, but the full solution involves using the HubSpot API to associate the uploaded File via an Engagement record to the Deal.

Zap action: HubSpot - Upload File

Description: Uploads a file to the HubSpot File Manager

 

Zap action: HubSpot - API Request

OR

Zap action: HubSpot - Custom Action
