Is it possible to adjust the format I am given SRT file from an OpenAI Whisper transcription.
The translation is fine, but I need the output (SRT) to have a maximum of 8 characters per line and asking for this in the prompt doesn't seem to have any effect.
The zap looks like this:
1. New file in G Drive (audio, under 25mb)
2. Create Transcription in OpenAI (SRT format)
3. Would love to export this SRT file but I need the character limit added.

Can you link to the SRT requirements documentation?
I dont have a link to the documentation, I run a video editing agency and all our videos require captions that are ~8 characters per line.
These our the SRT export settings we currently use with Descript, but it has to be done manually every time (we edit 10+ videos per day, which is why I wanted to automate it). And Descript’s Zapier integration doesn’t allow for changing those settings like you can in the app.

If you would like the integration to be updated to have a field where you can change a setting that you don’t see now, you can contact Descript...they’re the developers of that integration.
