How to add customer email to Mailerlite group after sell?
Hi,
I wanted to ask if it is possible to add Stripe customer email to Mailer Lite after payment. I'm talking about a specific product in Stripe. Not generally about sales. Ex. I have three products in Stripe (Book 1, Book 2, etc.) and each product has its own group in Mailer Lite (Book 1, Book 2, etc.). I need to add a specific product contact (book 1) in Stripe to a Mailer Lite group (book 1).
I try to find right filter, but I don’t know which is the best.
I can't find the filter for the product or what from the created invoice is it correct to be able to identify the product.
Can you advise me?
@zuzkaa
Try this Zap trigger: Stripe - Checkout Session Completed
This should have line items included.
@Troy Tessalone
where do I choose the product for which I want to create a zap? I need to extract an email from Stripe from one specific product and send it to MailerLite.
In Stripe a have product and Payment link. A Payment link on a web. Product have ID e.g. prod_MOwxllwUgf7le3
In Zapier a create a ZAP 1. Trigger - Stripe - New Payment in Stipe 2. Filter Only Continue if - Invoice Data Lines Data Plan Product - (text) Contains - prod_MOwxllwUgf7le3 3. Create or Update Subscriber in MailerLite
Unfortunately, ZAP ends up on a filter where the given product ID is not in the data from Stripe.
Can you think of what to do with it?
Or what should I set in the filter for product ID?
I also wrote to Stripe and they referred me to Zapier support.
Thank you
@zuzkaa
We would need to see screenshots with how your Filter step is configured and DATA IN/OUT from the Zap Runs.
@Troy Tessalone
Is that it?
The point is that the product id prod_MOwxllwUgf7nA is not being passed from Stripe at all :-(
@zuzkaa
Can you confirm when Stripe trigger event you are using?
How is the purchase experience configured using Stripe? (e.g. via another app, via Stripe Payment Links, etc.)
@Troy Tessalone
I have a generated Payment link for the product and then the one given on the website in the button.
@zuzkaa
Try using this Zap trigger: Stripe - Checkout Session Completed
@Troy Tessalone Thank you so much. It works :-)
That’s great news @zuzkaa! Big thanks to Troy for assisting you on this one.
