How task are working when you collect leads? Pricing issues

Hi, I am trying to understand how the tasks are performing ans how its cost related in collecting leads.

Lets say that I have set a zap that triggers when a person completed their email address on my quiz. Zapier tells my email sender to collect the email address. Each email collected is considered a TASK?

So therefore If I collect 750 leads per month that means I pay aprox $30 for the starter pack?

And if I collect 20,000 leads per month I pay $283,50 for Zapier?

Thank you for you answers!

Hi @Florentina

Help articles about how Tasks are counted in Zap Runs: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496196837261-How-is-usage-measured-in-Zapier#h_01HKCHEGGWN1MCNNX01PQTG0E8

Hi, I dont understand the article as I am not a tech expert, so I would appreciate a specific answer for my question. Can you help with that? Thank you

@Florentina

The article is written for non-technical users and includes examples.

The Task count depends on the apps used in each step of a Zap.

Which apps would you be using in your Zap steps?

What are Zaps, triggers, actions, and tasks?

  • A Zap is an automated workflow that you create to connect your apps.
  • A trigger is an event that starts your Zap.
  • An action is an event that happens after your Zap is triggered.
    • A task is any successful action that a Zap performs.

What counts toward task usage

The following use one task when your Zap runs:

  • All successful action steps.
  • Any successful step within an error handler path.
  • In Sub-Zaps:
    • Each action step within the Sub-Zap.
    • The Call a Sub-Zap action step in the Zap.
    • The Return From a Sub-Zap action step in the Zap.

In search actions, you can decide whether the Zap should proceed if nothing is found. If you select:

  • Yes, the search action will use 1 task.
  • No, the search action won’t use any tasks.

What does not count toward task usage?

The following does not use tasks when your Zap runs:

I use zapier to collect emails from Bucket.io to a specific list in Brevo (email sender)
