How do I use Zapier to streamline customer referral updates and point changes with emails?

My client manages customer referrals and points with spreadsheets and a separate website login. This is too much overhead. How can I streamline it to just send email updates when points change? Would Zapier be sufficient, or do I need a different tool?

Hi Troy , thanks for the response , the client is open to use whatever spreadsheet software or email. As long as they manage to update it and automatically notify the user via email. I can’t think of a system of the top of my head but was wondering whether you could suggest any? 

Also , I want to ensure that only the customer that was updated will receive a email not everyone on the list.

Try these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: GSheets - New/Updated Row
  2. Action: Filter
    1. Make sure the desired data points are populated
  3. Action: Gmail - Send Email

 

Will try that, can the email sent be dynamic, for example only the row that the client information has changed be updated?
