If i use the Cvent “Trigger on New Attendee Activities”, with ‘Filter by Event Attendee Activity Type’ “event registered”, there is no email address output to use in an action for google calendar invite.

If i use the “Trigger on New and/or Updated Attendees”, with ‘Updated Attendees’, it also invites email addresses to google calendar when someones declines, but only when registering is the intended use.

What is the solution here?

Hi @Editors

Perhaps try adding this Zap step: Cvent - Find an Attendee

If you need more help, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field types and field mappings.

Thanks for the reply.

Since I'm testing out this Zap, I’m using the free version that only allows 1 trigger and 1 action.

The provided solution does work but I’d prefer one that does it in 2 total steps instead of 3.

I’m wondering why the ‘Trigger on New Attendee Activities’ doesn’t output the contact email, while the ‘Trigger on New and/or Updated Attendees’ does, but the last one doesn't have a registered only filter.

If there is a way to do it in 2 total steps, I’d love to hear how.

@Editors

Most Zap apps are created and managed by the app developer using the Zapier Developer Platform.

You can try:

  • Reaching out to Cvent Support for help with their Zap app integration.
  • Submit a feature request to be logged with Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-help

NOTE: There are other factors that dictate if a Zapier paid plan is needed.

  • Tasks used in Zap Runs which depends on volume of activity
  • Premium Zap Apps used in Zap steps
  • Zaps with 3+ steps
