Question

How do I use QuickBooks Online new (bank) transactions as a Zap trigger?

There is a full list of triggers for Quickbooks Online. However, I need a new Quickbooks transaction to serve as a trigger and that is not an option.

Is there a way to make new (bank) transactions from QBO serve as a Zap trigger?

Hi @accountingflow

If a desired trigger is not available, here are some options:

  • Explore if the app supports webhooks
    • Zap trigger: Webhook - Catch Hook
  • Configure a Zap trigger to poll via API requests for new data
    • Zap trigger: Webhook - Retrieve Poll
  • Explore using a different app/event as the Zap trigger
    • e.g. Gmail - New Email
      • Maybe you get an email from QBO each time a transaction happens

Feedback and feature requests should be submitted via a ticket to Zapier Support: https://zapier.com/app/get-help
