How do I upload the pictures people send through MMS/SMS to Google Drive?

Hi, is it possible to take images that people text to a certain number and have them uploaded somewhere like Google Drive?

Good question.

Depends on which app is being used to receive the SMS/MMS and if that app supports images.

Are you using one of the Phone & SMS apps supported on Zapier? You can investigate those here: https://zapier.com/apps/categories/phone

I would say, experimenting by connecting your account for the app you are using will probably be your quickest route to an answer in this case but if you can let us know what app you are using one of us might know off the top of our heads too!

It looks as though when you wrote into support, you were looking for a potential way to do this without a text-marketing app, to which my colleague Daniel replied and gave the following advice:

I did some digging in our integrations, and I think the closest we can get to being able to take images from a text message to your personal number and upload those to Google Drive would be using Siri Shortcuts + Zapier:

It's worth noting that this is only available to iOS users, so keep that in mind. I'm afraid I won't be able to confirm if Siri Shortcuts will be able to handle this exact workflow, as that's a bit outside of our scope here at Zapier support. You may want to do some digging on Apple's site here:
