Question

How do I upload Jotform documents into Dropbox while maintaining the original file type?

Im using JOTFORM to collect documents from clients.

I want to upload those docs into Dropbox.

I gather that DROPBOX will convert all attachments to TXT.

I have read that using GMAIL as an intermediary will maintain integrity of file type.

BUT now I see that GMAIL wont integrate with Dropbox anymore.

I tried EMAIL BY ZAPIER to send attachments, but after test the attachments dont show as an available field to them send to dropbox.

Can anyone please suggest a workaround?

Hi @GRS1974

Make sure to adjust your Jotform > Settings > uncheck option for: Require log-in to view uploaded files

Try these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: Jotform - New Submission
  2. Action: Filter
    1. Make sure there are files to upload
  3. Action: Looping - Create Loop from Items
  4. Action: Dropbox - Upload File
