I would like to trigger on a new user added to a group and as a result post several documents to that user (or to the full group)

 

Any Suggestions is this possilbe?

The only supported app in Zapier is the WhatsApp Notifications app. You can only use WhatsApp Notifications to send messages to yourself. More about that here: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/19805639844621-Send-messages-in-Zaps-using-WhatsApp

Can whatsapp Notifications be sent to whatsapp groups?

Unfortunately, you can only send WhatsApp Notifications messages to yourself and not to WhatsApp groups.

Notwithstanding what @Troy Tessalone and @ken.a said, there are apps that can integrate with Zapier and send Whatsapp messages such Timelines.ai  and  WATI . None of which sends to groups. 

 

You have to understand the limitations of each of them though.
