I am trying to create a Zap that will trigger when a record reaches 45 days from a renewal date. My team sends Marketing materials to prospects that are 45 days away from contract renewal dates. Currently this is done by a Marketing specialist filtering an excel spreadsheet and then manually importing those emails to a list in our CRM. I would like to set up a zap that fires and sends those communications automatically once a prospect reaches 45 days from their contract renewal date. I imported the data from the excel sheet to a table in Zapier table. The question I have now is how do I set up the Zap to fire once the renewal date is 45 days out?

Hi @Mcadwell

Try these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: Schedule - Daily
  2. Action: Formatter > Date & Time > Add/Subtract Time
    1. +45 days from today
    2. System timestamps: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496275717261#iso-8601-timestamps-0-1
  3. Action: Zapier Tables - Find Records
    1. Search by the desired date field using the date value from Step 2
  4. Action: Filter
    1. Condition to check if there were Table records found
  5. Action: Looping - Create Loop from Line Items
    1. Used to handle each found record individually
  6. Action: APP] - EVENT]

NOTE: Steps 2-5 will count as 0 Tasks.
